A few slices of Rye, Seed or Home-Baked Bread
Soft Goat’s Cheese such as Chevin
Fresh Basil leaves
Heat a skillet large enough to accommodate the slices of bread. Once very hot, add a drizzle of oil to the skillet and place the slices of bread on to the skillet, grilling on both sides until lightly toasted and crispy. Remove from the pan and allow to cool slightly.
To assemble the canapés, spread some of the goat’s cheese onto the bruschetta, top with a fresh basil leaf and garnish with a fresh strawberry. Drizzle a small amount of the balsamic reduction over just before serving.
